I couldn’t believe when I saw this exquisitely designed cast iron frame at a church rummage sale! It was so rusty, crusty, dirty…..and beautiful! I’m sure some elderly person nearly threw it away, but then decided to donate it to the church sale instead. And boy, am I glad they did! This was the most amazing old frame I had ever seen! I quickly picked it up and asked a volunteer how much it was, being pleased when they said $1! I knew someone would be willing to pay a premium for this antique gem! It did take a while for the frame to sell, but I was willing to wait it out for the right buyer. I’m glad I was able to rescue it from the rubbish and release it to someone else who would appreciate its beauty and give it many more years of life!
